The best Home-style Japanese food… FYI donburi means ‘on rice’ & usually this comes by itself but this is Ajitoya style. Like our other dishes, it’s not difficult, just get prepped & the rest will fall into place. Even my Aussie family who can be fussy eaters, all loved this dish.

  • 100 gram pork neck finely sliced
  • 35 gram onion sliced
  • 25 gram cabbage chopped


  • 10 ml soy sauce
  • 20 ml mirin
  • 10 ml cooking sake
  • ½ tsp grated ginger or more as you like


  • Japanese Mayonnaise
  • Shichimi
