SHOP MANAGER

A busy Japanese bar/restaurant in Yarraville looking for a bright & knowledgable person who loves Japanese food & drinks as much as we do, to run the day to day shop operations. 5 day work week – Tuesday to Saturday giving you 2 normal days off a week. Very rare indeed.

This is ‘the role’ for the discerning Japanophile who loves all things Japan, wrapped in a bit more sophistication with delicious Japanese cocktails, plum wines, sake & Japanese Whisky served with our Izakaya style share dishes. We have moved into a more digital space taking booking requests online & all our takeaway orders are done via the website to help streamline busy service times.

General but important tasks:

  • Set up the shop, run the service, pack down & close up
  • Organising bookings, greeting customers to executing the shift smoothly & efficiently
  • Taking orders accurately, explaining various dishes & fulfilling food & drink orders
  • Taking receipt of payments & cashing up the till for the day
  • Keeping the bar & floor area a clean & tidy work place to be in
  • Follow strict hygiene regulations to keep customers & coworkers safe & healthy

A busy Japanese bar/restaurant in Yarraville looking for gun kitchen crew to easily slide into our busy Japanese kitchen working with our Head Chef Yuko san, creating Izakaya style share dishes, takeaway food, prepped foods & assemble at home kits for sale through our website. 5 day work week – Tuesday to Saturday giving you 2 normal days off a week. Very rare indeed.
